The Role:
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an Architectural Technologist (2–4 years’ PQE) to support the design and technical delivery of new build leisure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their experience and take on greater responsibility within a supportive team environment.
You will work as part of a collaborative project team, contributing across various stages of project delivery. The role will suit someone with strong AutoCAD skills, a solid technical foundation, and a proactive approach to learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the technical delivery of new build leisure projects across the UK.
- Produce accurate technical drawings, details, and specifications using AutoCAD.
- Support projects through RIBA Stages 2–5, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and external consultants.
- Contribute to the coordination of project information and technical documentation.
- Ensure high standards of design and technical output are maintained.
Key Requirements:
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Architectural Technology (or related discipline).
- 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience within an architectural practice.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
- Experience working on UK-based projects, ideally within leisure or similar sectors.
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
