An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technologist with 3–5 years’ experience to join a growing architectural team based in Leeds. Our client is seeking a motivated and technically focused professional to support the delivery of a wide range of projects across the education, residential, and industrial sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist looking to further develop their technical expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment, working on projects from planning through to construction.
About the Role
As an Architectural Technologist, you will work closely with senior team members to produce detailed technical drawings and coordinated design information across multiple projects. You will play an important role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle while continuing to build their technical knowledge and professional experience within a well-established and growing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages using Revit and AutoCAD
- Assist in the coordination of technical information across multidisciplinary teams
- Support project delivery across a variety of sectors including education, residential, and industrial
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers as required
- Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations and relevant technical standards
- Attend project meetings and contribute to the technical development of schemes
- Work collaboratively within the architectural team to deliver high-quality project outcomes
To Be Successful, You Will Need:
- 3–5 years’ experience working as an Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects and deadlines
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team
- A Full UK driving licence is preferred
