Assistant Site Manager

Conrad Consulting have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join a well-established main contractor delivering a major high-profile development in Glasgow.

The Role of the Assistant Site Manager:

Working alongside the Senior Site Manager and wider project team, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of a major construction project. You'll assist with the day-to-day management of site operations, coordinate subcontractors, monitor health & safety, and help ensure works are delivered on programme and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on role that would suit someone looking to take the next step in their career with a leading main contractor.

The Ideal Candidate:

We're open to candidates from a variety of construction sectors, although experience within main contracting, large-scale build projects, or high-value internal fit-out packages would be highly advantageous.

Requirements of the Assistant Site Manager:

  • Experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor working for a main contractor.

  • Exposure to delivering medium to large-scale construction projects.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • A proactive approach with the ability to build strong relationships on site.

  • A solid understanding of health & safety and quality standards.

  • SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (or working towards SMSTS).
