A growing multi-office building consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Building Surveyor to take a leading role within their Exeter office, supporting ongoing expansion across the South West.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real responsibility in a smaller regional team, with the backing of an established business and a strong pipeline of work across both public and private sector clients.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading delivery of core Building Surveying services across a mixed portfolio
- Running dilapidations instructions, schedules of condition, and defect diagnosis work
- Delivering professional services across commercial and residential assets
- Acting as the main client contact on a number of key instructions
- Overseeing project delivery and ensuring quality from inception to completion
- Supporting the development of junior surveyors within the Exeter office
- Working closely with senior leadership to grow the regional presence
What we’re looking for:
- Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS)
- Strong all-round consultancy experience (professional-focused preferred)
- Confident working independently and managing client relationships
- Experience delivering dilapidations and professional surveying services
- Some experience supporting or guiding junior team members
- Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-focused approach
What’s on offer:
