Conrad Consulting is proud to be working with an established and growing building consultancy to recruit an Associate Building Surveyor for their Hertfordshire office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor looking to step into a senior leadership role within a business that has developed an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality public sector projects across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, North London and Essex.
The successful candidate will take ownership of key client relationships, lead project delivery across a varied portfolio and play an active role in the continued growth and development of the business.
Working predominantly on project-focused instructions, you will oversee the delivery of refurbishment, maintenance and capital improvement schemes across education, healthcare, local authority and community assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of complex building surveying and project work.
- Managing and developing key public sector client relationships.
- Overseeing contract administration and project management services.
- Supporting business development and identifying new opportunities.
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior team members.
- Managing project teams to ensure successful delivery of client objectives.
- Contributing to the strategic growth of the Building Surveying team.
Requirements
- MRICS qualified.
- Significant experience within Building Surveying, ideally within consultancy.
- Proven track record delivering project-focused work across multiple sectors.
- Strong client-facing and business development capabilities.
- Experience managing teams and mentoring surveyors.
- Excellent commercial awareness and leadership skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
