This role is ideally suited to a technically accomplished civil engineer with a strong background in building-related civil engineering, combined with proven leadership, people management capability and a confident client-facing approach. The successful candidate will take ownership of key projects, nurture long-standing client relationships and support the development of the wider team through effective workload management and technical mentoring.

The Associate Civil Engineer will provide senior technical oversight across a broad range of projects, reviewing and checking civil engineering designs to ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved. The position involves leading major projects from concept through delivery, adopting a client-focused approach to design and problem-solving, while maintaining a strong awareness of commercial performance and project finances.
They are seeking candidates who can bring at least 10 years’ UK experience and are either Chartered or close to this, with a demonstrable track record of successfully managing both projects and a team. You will have strong technical expertise across core civil engineering disciplines such as roads and drainage, flood risk and earthworks.
