Conrad Consulting is seeking an experienced Associate Procurement Manager to support a major defence and nuclear programme.
This role offers responsibility for the day-to-day commercial delivery of a portfolio of approximately 15 live contracts within a cross-sector programme environment.
The Role
You will ensure contractual obligations and deliverables are met while providing commercial guidance and supporting effective contract management across live projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of approximately 15 live contracts.
- Monitoring contractual obligations, milestones and deliverables.
- Acting as the first point of contact for commercial queries.
- Providing initial commercial advice, issue triage and resolution.
- Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff.
- Managing stakeholder engagement and escalating commercial risks appropriately.
- Maintaining contract tracking, reporting on progress, risks and dependencies.
- Providing recommendations on matters requiring senior intervention.
About You
You will have:
- Strong procurement and contract management experience.
- Experience managing multiple contracts within a complex programme.
- Excellent commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to mentor colleagues and resolve contractual issues.
- SC security clearance, as required for the role.
Experience in defence, nuclear or other regulated programme environments would be advantageous.
