A well-established consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor who is newly qualified (MRICS) or due to sit their APC. This position offers the chance to join an established, collaborative project team delivering a broad range of commercial and public-sector schemes. The successful candidate must have experience running projects independently and be confident producing technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of project-focused Building Surveying services across multiple property types.
- Prepare high-quality technical specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
- Manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring programme, cost and quality targets are met.
- Undertake contract administration duties and coordinate professional teams.
- Provide clear, professional advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Support senior team members in developing long-term client relationships.
Required Experience & Skills
- Newly qualified MRICS or currently undertaking the final stages of the APC.
- Proven project running experience within a consultancy environment.
- Strong technical ability, particularly in writing specifications.
- Solid understanding of contract administration and building pathology.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work confidently with clients.
