A respected multi‑disciplinary practice in Suffolk is looking to strengthen its team with an ambitious Building Surveyor. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, professional autonomy and the chance to make a visible impact across meaningful public‑sector projects.

The role

You’ll be involved in a broad mix of work, including:

  • Housing disrepair surveys and reporting

  • Specification writing for refurbishment and maintenance schemes

  • Contract administration across small to medium‑scale projects

  • Supporting Housing, Local Authority and Education clients

  • Ideally contributing with AutoCAD experience to support design and technical outputs

What you’ll bring

  • A background in Building Surveying, ideally with experience in the public or residential sectors

  • Strong technical reporting and specification writing skills

  • Confidence managing projects and liaising with clients and contractors

  • A proactive, organised approach and a genuine interest in improving the built environment
