I'm working with a well-established, independent multi-disciplinary consultancy in Hull that is looking to appoint a Building Surveyor to join its growing team.

You'll be given responsibility from day one, working across a diverse range of commercial, residential, education and public sector projects throughout Yorkshire and the Humber.
Whether you're already chartered or working towards your APC, this business will provide the support and exposure needed to help you progress.
Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor
- Deliver a broad range of professional and project building surveying services.
- Undertake condition surveys, building inspections and defect diagnosis.
- Prepare specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
- Administer contracts and oversee projects on site.
- Carry out dilapidations, party wall matters and technical due diligence where required.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work alongside colleagues across other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
Requirements of the Building Surveyor
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying.
- Experience working within a UK consultancy environment.
- Working towards MRICS or already Chartered (preferred but not essential).
- Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
