Our client is expanding and is seeking a skilled Facade CAD Technician to join their London-based structural and civil engineering consultancy, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement. This is a great opportunity to work on high-quality façade and building envelope projects within a growing, forward-thinking team.
The role involves producing coordinated 2D and 3D drawings for façade systems including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing, and associated interfaces. Working closely with internal engineers and external consultants, the technician will support projects from design development through to construction, ensuring drawings are accurate, compliant, and fully coordinated across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ UK experience in façade detailing, strong AutoCAD skills, and a solid understanding of façade systems such as rainscreens, windows, doors, and curtain walling. Revit/BIM experience is an advantage. Attention to detail, good communication skills, and a collaborative approach are essential.
