Conrad Consulting is working in partnership with a respected consultancy specialising in the delivery of high‑quality education projects across Suffolk. We are seeking a talented CAD Technician to join their growing team and support the design and development of a wide range of school and college schemes.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑driven CAD Technician who enjoys working on meaningful, community‑focused projects. You’ll play a key role in producing accurate technical drawings, supporting survey and design teams, and ensuring project information is delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities

Produce high‑quality 2D CAD drawings for education‑sector projects

Assist surveyors and designers with the preparation of technical documentation

Update and maintain drawing records and project information

Liaise with internal teams to ensure coordinated and accurate outputs

Support the development of project workflows and drawing standards
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

Proven experience as a CAD Technician within construction, surveying, or building design

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience beneficial but not essential)

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

An interest in education‑sector projects and improving the built environment
