Conrad Consulting is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join a well-established and growing Building Consultancy team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded consultancy delivering high-quality building surveying services across a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied workload, combining both project-led and professional building surveying instructions.
The Role
Working as part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of building surveying services, including:
- Contract administration and project management of refurbishment, alteration and maintenance schemes.
- Preparation of specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
- Building inspections and condition surveys.
- Dilapidations (acting for both landlord and tenant).
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) surveys.
- Technical due diligence and acquisition surveys.
- Defect diagnosis and preparation of technical reports.
- Party wall matters and other professional building surveying services where appropriate.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the team.
About You
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
- MRICS qualification (essential).
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering both project and professional building surveying services.
- Strong technical knowledge of building pathology, construction and contract administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple commissions.
- Full UK driving licence.
