Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a leading property and construction consultancy to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRICS Building Surveyor to work across a varied portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on healthcare and education-sector properties.
The Role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will provide a broad range of professional and project-based surveying services, working closely with clients and other members of the consultancy team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Building and condition surveys
- Planned maintenance and lifecycle planning
- Defect diagnosis and technical advice
- Preparation of specifications and schedules of work
- Contract administration
- Project monitoring
- Dilapidations and schedules of condition
- Producing detailed technical reports
- Liaising with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of buildings and projects while developing strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the surveying team.
About You
We are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with a strong professional surveying background.
Ideally, you will have:
- MRICS qualification
- Strong professional Building Surveying experience
- Previous experience working on healthcare and/or education projects
- Good knowledge of relevant construction standards and regulations
- Experience with contract administration and technical reporting
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively as part of a wider team
Experience within other public-sector environments would also be advantageous.
