Conrad Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a leading construction and property consultancy seeking an ambitious South Region Commercial Lead to drive commercial performance, develop client relationships and support the continued growth of its regional business.
This is a strategic leadership role offering the opportunity to influence major programmes, mentor commercial teams and play a key part in business development across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, property and capital investment projects.

The Role
As South Region Commercial Lead, you'll:
- Lead the commercial delivery of major projects and programmes across the South of England.
- Provide strategic commercial guidance to project teams and senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Drive commercial performance, governance and risk management across multiple commissions.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while supporting regional growth objectives.
- Lead client presentations, commercial negotiations and bid activities.
- Mentor and develop commercial professionals, promoting best practice across the business.
- Ensure projects are delivered successfully, meeting commercial, financial and operational objectives.
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Significant experience in a senior commercial leadership role within a construction consultancy, infrastructure or major projects environment.
- A proven track record of delivering commercial success across complex construction or infrastructure programmes.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at executive and client level.
- Strong business development experience, including winning work, developing key accounts and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Excellent commercial acumen with strong knowledge of contract management and commercial governance.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing commercial teams.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
- MRICS, MCICES or equivalent professional membership is desirable.
