About the Role
Conrad Consulting is proud to be partnering with a leading global consultancy to recruit a Commercial Manager for their London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile defence projects, supporting critical national infrastructure and delivering complex programmes of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial aspects of defence-related projects from inception through to completion
  • Provide cost management, contract administration, and procurement support
  • Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support tendering processes and contract negotiations
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager, Quantity Surveyor, or similar role
  • Background in working on complex infrastructure or defence projects is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of contract forms (e.g., NEC, JCT)
  • Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities

Security Clearance Requirement
Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be UK citizens holding a single nationality passport and be eligible to obtain the appropriate level of security clearance.
