We’re working with a forward-thinking building consultancy based in Gloucestershire to recruit an experienced Employers Agent. You’ll take the lead on a portfolio of residential schemes — from affordable housing to Build to Rent developments of up to 350 homes. These projects go beyond the standard model, embracing Zero Carbon, Zero Energy Bill, Passivhaus principles, and a wide range of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
This is a chance to actively shape delivery strategies, drive performance across complex programmes, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and value.
What you’ll be doing

Leading residential projects from inception to completion

Managing contracts, tenders, budgets and project teams

Overseeing programme, cost, risk, and quality management

Acting as the main client contact and advisor on key projects

Supporting financial viability and development modelling

Playing a role in shaping team processes and growth strategy
Skills and experience
-
Relevant degree, working towards or completed APC/RICS
-
Surveying background with minimum 2 years’ experience

Strong communication and client-facing skills
-
Strategic thinker with risk awareness and problem-solving ability
-
Confident in relationship-building, constructive challenge, and decision-making
