An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Foreman Ganger to supervise site operations across a variety of infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Foreman Ganger to lead site teams, ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently, and contribute to high-quality project delivery. The successful Foreman Ganger will oversee day-to-day activities while maintaining exceptional health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site operatives.
• Plan daily labour, plant and material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Promote high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors and management.
• Maintain site records and daily reports.
• Order materials and manage site resources.
• Deliver toolbox talks and daily briefings.
• Identify operational issues and report to management.
• Support drainage, roadworks, earthworks and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Foreman Ganger or similar supervisory role.
• Minimum five years' civil engineering experience.
• CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation.

Desirable

• SMSTS or SSSTS.
• First Aid.
• NRSWA.
• CPCS Plant Tickets.
• Temporary Works knowledge.
• Confined Spaces, Banksman or Abrasive Wheels certification.
