Whether you’re a fresh engineering graduate or have up to three years’ experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your career with a consultancy offering hands-on experience, excellent mentoring and exposure to a diverse range of engineering projects.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Engineer to join its Glasgow team, where you’ll work alongside experienced engineers on fascinating civil, structural and temporary works projects across sectors including heritage, rail, nuclear, commercial, residential and infrastructure.
From concept through to construction, you’ll gain valuable practical experience, develop your technical skills and gradually take on greater responsibility. Your work will include assisting with engineering designs and calculations, preparing CAD drawings and technical documentation, undertaking risk assessments and site visits, and supporting projects through every stage of delivery.
You’ll benefit from dedicated mentoring, ongoing technical training and support towards ICE or IStructE Chartership, giving you an excellent foundation for long-term career progression. The role also offers exposure to high-profile projects across the UK, alongside attractive benefits including private healthcare, occupational sick pay, flexible working hours, annual salary reviews and a bike-to-work scheme.
Candidates with a degree in engineering or a related discipline, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for engineering are encouraged to apply. Previous CAD experience, construction placements and graduate membership of ICE or IStructE would be advantageous but are not essential.
Whether you’re starting your career or looking to build on your first few years in engineering, send your CV to Graham Ventham at Conrad Consulting to find out more about this excellent opportunity in Glasgow.
