Ready to kick-start your engineering career with exciting projects, excellent mentoring and genuine opportunities to grow?
Our client is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join its Aberdeen team, offering an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an engineer with up to three years’ experience to develop their skills within an established consultancy. With hands-on involvement from day one, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to a varied portfolio of civil, structural and temporary works projects across heritage, rail, nuclear, commercial, residential and infrastructure sectors.
You’ll be involved in projects from initial concept through to construction, gaining practical experience and building your technical knowledge along the way. Responsibilities will include assisting with engineering designs and calculations, producing CAD drawings and technical documentation, carrying out risk assessments and site visits, and helping deliver projects through every stage of their lifecycle.
Your development will be a priority, with dedicated mentoring, ongoing technical training and support towards ICE or IStructE Chartership. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to high-profile schemes across the UK, building a strong foundation for a rewarding long-term career.
The benefits package includes private healthcare, occupational sick pay, flexible working hours, annual salary reviews and a bike-to-work scheme.
Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, alongside a genuine passion for engineering. Previous CAD experience, construction placements and graduate membership of ICE or IStructE would be beneficial, but are not essential.
Whether you’re taking your first steps after university or already have some industry experience, this is an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge, learn from experienced engineers and build a successful future in the profession.
