Known for creativity, integrity and delivering commercially successful spaces, this close-knit practice works across Residential, Commercial, Retail, Education and Community sectors - and has built an exceptional reputation as a trusted design consultancy.

The Role

You'll own projects from initial concept through to completion - developing design packages, presenting to clients, managing FF&E, coordinating on site and delivering high-quality results across a varied and interesting project mix that includes hospitality, workplace and hotel schemes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading Interior Design projects through feasibility, planning, tender, construction and handover
  • Developing and presenting creative concept design packages to clients and project teams
  • Producing detailed drawing packages — plans, elevations, sections, construction and joinery details
  • Compiling FF&E schedules, sourcing materials and obtaining quotes from suppliers
  • Coordinating with contractors, consultants and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attending site meetings, managing snagging and handling on-site queries
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, materials and relevant legislation

Interior Designer Requirements

  • Min 3 years’ experience in commercial Interior Design, with a portfolio that evidences pub/hospitality, workplace and hotel projects
  • A degree (or equivalent) in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Strong AutoCAD and SketchUp skills; Adobe InDesign and Photoshop proficiency; V-Ray or similar rendering software is a bonus
  • The ability to produce detailed technical drawing packages from feasibility to construction stage
  • Experience managing site delivery and liaising with clients, contractors and project managers
  • Solid knowledge of FF&E sourcing, specification, and supplier management
  • Familiarity with Building Regulations, British Standards and statutory legislation
  • Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence

The successful Interior Designer can expect to receive a salary likely to be in the range of £30k-£33k (DoE).

You’ll be surrounded by a friendly and collaborative multi-disciplinary team all working together towards a common goal. You will be afforded all the support you require to really excel within the industry.
