Landscape Architect

A highly regarded multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a talented and ambitious Landscape Architect to join their growing Harrogate team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 3–5 years’ experience who is ready to take the next step in their career, with a clear route through to Senior and Associate level for those looking to develop into a leadership role.

About the Role

You’ll play an integral part in the design and delivery of innovative, sustainable and high-quality landscape projects across the UK. Working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to a variety of projects — from strategic masterplanning and public realm design to complex environmental and infrastructure schemes.

The role offers a strong balance of creative design work, technical delivery, and project management, providing the perfect platform to progress towards a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of landscape projects from concept to completion
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Prepare high-quality design and technical documentation using industry-standard software
  • Manage workloads, deadlines, and client expectations with minimal supervision
  • Support and mentor junior team members as your role develops

Key Requirements

  • CMLI (Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute), or actively working towards chartership
  • 3–5 years’ post-graduate experience in a landscape practice
  • Strong design, graphic and technical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team
  • Full UK driving licence (essential, due to nationwide project locations)

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary (£40,000 – £50,000, depending on experience)
  • Structured career development plan with a defined route to Associate level
  • Ongoing mentoring and professional development opportunities
  • Friendly, inclusive and supportive working culture
  • Hybrid and flexible working options
  • Pension scheme and professional membership contributions
  • Opportunity to work on a wide variety of meaningful, design-led and sustainable projects
