The Role
As a Landscape Architect, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality landscape design services from concept through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing feasibility studies, sketch proposals, detailed designs, production drawings and specifications
- Preparing tender documentation and supporting contract management activities
- Developing creative and practical design solutions while maintaining strong design standards
- Collaborating with architects, engineers and other disciplines on a range of project types and complexities
- Managing project programmes, resources and budgets to ensure efficient delivery
- Using relevant design systems, including CAD software, to support project outputs
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, codes of practice and health & safety requirements
- Identifying potential new business opportunities and supporting wider team objectives
- Travelling to sites and other offices when required
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Professional membership of the Landscape Institute (or working towards it)
- A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline
- Experience in a similar landscape design role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A good understanding of construction health & safety legislation
- A current CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one immediately)
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities
