Project Change Manager – Defence Projects
Location: London (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Benefits
About the Role
Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a leading global consultancy to recruit a Project Change Manager to join their growing London team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering complex defence programmes, ensuring robust change control processes are in place across high-profile and sensitive projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project change control processes across defence programmes
- Assess, track, and report on change impacts relating to cost, schedule, and risk
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective change management
- Maintain accurate change logs and documentation in line with governance requirements
- Provide insights and reporting to support informed decision-making
- Support continuous improvement of change management procedures and best practices
Working Arrangements & Travel
- Hybrid working model: typically 2–3 days on client site or office, with 2–3 days working from home
- London office attendance may only be required approximately once per month for team meetings
- Travel to client sites is required, with flexibility essential
- Occasional overnight stays may be necessary depending on project needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Project Change Manager or similar role within complex project environments
- Experience working on defence, infrastructure, or highly regulated projects is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of change control processes and project governance
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and reporting capabilities
Security Clearance Requirement
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be UK citizens holding a single nationality passport and be eligible to obtain the required level of security clearance.
