An established and growing independent construction and property consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to join and strengthen their Real Estate team, with a particular focus on high-end hotels and hospitality projects. This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially astute professional to lead, oversee, and deliver prestigious, complex projects across the Southeast.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project delivery on high-end hospitality and hotel projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams, including consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Provide strategic advice on project planning, programme management, risk management, and procurement strategies.
- Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception through design, construction, and handover.
- Monitor project performance, including budgets, schedules, and quality control, reporting to clients and stakeholders as required.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for project delivery matters.
- Support business growth by identifying new opportunities within the hospitality sector and contributing to the development of the company’s Project Management services.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative team culture.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior or Associate Project Manager in a UK-based construction consultancy.
- Strong background in high-end hospitality, hotel, or luxury residential projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project delivery across all RIBA stages, including pre- and post-contract processes.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and providing strategic project advice.
- Excellent commercial awareness, with the ability to provide robust programme, risk, and procurement guidance.
- Leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing junior project staff.
- Professional qualifications such as MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent are advantageous.
