Project Manager – Luxury Hotel Projects

Location: Central London Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 + benefits

Conrad Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a leading construction and development organisation to appoint an experienced Project Manager for the delivery of a flagship luxury hotel project in Central London. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a high‑profile hospitality development, ensuring world‑class quality, seamless guest experience integration, and flawless execution from concept through to opening.

The Role

As the Project Manager, you will lead the entire project lifecycle—design, procurement, construction, and handover—ensuring the development meets the exacting standards of international luxury hotel brands. You’ll coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage high‑profile stakeholders, and maintain strict control over programme, budget, and quality while delivering a truly exceptional hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead the full lifecycle of a luxury hotel project from concept to completion

  • Develop and manage programme, budget, and resource plans

  • Ensure timely delivery aligned with brand and operator requirements

Design & Quality Management

  • Coordinate architects, designers, and consultants to achieve high‑end finishes

  • Ensure compliance with luxury hotel brand standards (e.g., Marriott, Hilton, Four Seasons)

  • Review drawings, specifications, and mock‑ups for quality assurance

  • Oversee sample approvals, materials selection, and bespoke detailing

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between client, operator, consultants, and contractors

  • Manage expectations of high‑profile stakeholders and investors

  • Coordinate with hotel operators on operational requirements, guest flow, and back‑of‑house needs

Construction Oversight

  • Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with design intent

  • Manage contractor and subcontractor performance

  • Resolve technical, design, and coordination issues

  • Ensure seamless integration of MEP, façade, and fit‑out works

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Manage project budget, cost reporting, and value engineering

  • Administer contracts (JCT, NEC) and manage variations and claims

  • Approve payments and track financial performance

Handover & Operations Readiness

  • Oversee testing and commissioning of all systems

  • Manage snagging, defect resolution, and final inspections

  • Coordinate FF&E and OS&E installation

  • Ensure readiness for soft launch and grand opening

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience delivering luxury hotel or high‑end hospitality projects

  • Strong understanding of high‑quality fit‑out and premium finishes

  • Knowledge of hotel operations and guest experience design

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Strong commercial awareness and contract management capability

  • Ability to manage complex, fast‑track, high‑pressure projects

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture

  • Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, PMP, etc.)

  • Experience working with international hotel brands

  • Knowledge of BIM and project management software
