Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Centres

Location: Frankfurt, Germany / Austria
Working Pattern: 3 days per week on site
Salary: €84,000–€132,000 + 6%–20% bonus

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing team delivering major hyperscale data centre projects across mainland Europe.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex data centre projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with agreed programmes, budgets and quality standards.

This position will involve working across projects in Frankfurt or Austria, with an expectation of being site-based three days per week. Travel and accommodation costs will be fully covered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data centre construction and infrastructure projects.

  • Oversee project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery milestones.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and wider project teams.

  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with health and safety requirements and quality standards.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Manage client relationships and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders.

  • Lead progress meetings and provide updates on programme, commercial performance and project delivery.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required specifications.

  • Work closely with engineering, construction and commissioning teams to ensure successful project completion.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the data centre or wider construction/infrastructure sector.

  • Previous project experience with Google is essential, or demonstrable experience delivering within hyperscale data centre environments.

  • Strong understanding of large-scale construction project delivery.

  • Experience managing multiple contractors, stakeholders and project teams.

  • Strong programme management, organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage site-based teams and coordinate complex project activities.

  • Willingness to travel and spend three days per week on site in Frankfurt or Austria.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary between €84,000 and €132,000, depending on experience.

  • Performance-related bonus of 6%–20%.
