Conrad Consulting is working with an established building consultancy to recruit an experienced Project Manager for an exciting 26-week contract opportunity based in Plymouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience delivering construction and refurbishment projects within a defence or secure environment. You will play a key role in managing project delivery, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
The Role
- Manage the delivery of construction and building-related projects within a defence environment.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and key project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project programmes, budgets and quality standards, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives.
- Oversee project risks, issues and change management.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates to the wider project team.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant health and safety requirements and project procedures.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager within the construction or building consultancy sector.
- Experience delivering projects within defence, military or other secure environments would be highly advantageous.
- Valid and current Security Clearance is essential.
- Strong understanding of project delivery, programme management and construction processes.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within a demanding environment.
- Available to commit to an initial 26-week contract based in Plymouth.
