A well-established multidisciplinary design and engineering consultancy is seeking a talented Senior Architect or experienced Project Architect to join its growing Birmingham studio. With a strong reputation for delivering integrated services across architecture, surveying, and project management, this practice works on a wide range of projects in the residential, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural design and project coordination across all RIBA work stages

Manage and mentor design teams, ensuring technical excellence and project delivery

Oversee contract administration and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors

Support business development and contribute to commercial project success

Promote best practices in BIM and demonstrate strong proficiency in Revit
-
Ensure compliance with UK planning policy, building regulations, and construction standards
-
Engage in post-construction activities including Soft Landings and client feedback
Candidate Requirements

ARB / RIBA registered Architect
-
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience

Proven experience running projects from concept to completion

Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods and regulatory frameworks

Experience managing architectural and construction contracts (traditional, D&B, partnering)

Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows is essential

Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
-
A portfolio demonstrating high-quality design and technical delivery
