An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join an international project team working on a major construction project in Vassa, Finland.
The ideal candidate will be based locally in Vassa. However, there is flexibility for candidates based in Helsinki, with the opportunity to work on a regular site rotation of approximately 2–3 nights per week in Vassa.
The Role
- Provide commercial support throughout project delivery
- Manage project costs, valuations and variations
- Monitor budgets, forecasts and financial performance
- Assist with procurement and contract management
- Manage change and commercial reporting
- Work closely with project managers, contractors and consultants
- Support the wider commercial team to deliver strong project outcomes
About You
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on major construction projects
- Strong commercial and cost management skills
- Good understanding of construction contracts
- Confident working with project teams and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Finnish or wider Nordic construction experience would be advantageous
