Risk Manager

Conrad Consulting is working with a highly regarded consultancy seeking a Risk Manager to support the delivery of complex infrastructure and capital projects across the UK.

You will work alongside experienced project controls specialists and play an important role in helping clients understand, manage, and mitigate project risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and administer project and programme risk registers.
  • Support and facilitate risk identification and assessment workshops with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist with qualitative and quantitative risk analysis activities.
  • Monitor project risk exposure and support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Produce risk reports, dashboards, and management information for project teams and clients.
  • Ensure risk management activities are aligned with project governance requirements and industry best practice.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the risk management function.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years' experience in project or programme risk management.
  • Experience working on infrastructure, construction, engineering, transportation, utilities, or major project environments.
  • Knowledge of risk management methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience managing and maintaining risk registers.
  • Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and support risk workshops.
  • Exposure to qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
