A well-established and highly regarded property consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Rural Surveyor to join its growing rural team, based from its Suffolk office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Rural Surveyor looking to develop their career within a successful and diverse rural property practice, working with a broad range of private clients, landowners and rural estates.
The successful candidate will become involved in a varied workload covering a range of rural surveying, estate management and professional advisory services, with the opportunity to develop strong client relationships and take responsibility for their own portfolio of work.
The Role
The position will involve a diverse mix of rural surveying work, which could include:
- Rural estate and property management
- Land and property valuations
- Agricultural tenancies and landlord & tenant matters
- Rural agency and property sales
- Rural planning and development advice
- Compensation and compulsory purchase matters
- Estate and strategic property advice
- Property inspections and reporting
- Client and landowner liaison
- Supporting the wider rural team on larger instructions and projects
The role offers plenty of scope to build on existing experience, broaden your technical knowledge and progress within the business.
About You
We are keen to hear from qualified or experienced Rural Surveyors with a background in rural property and land management.
You may be MRICS qualified, working towards MRICS, or an experienced rural surveyor with strong practical and professional experience.
You should have:
- Experience within rural surveying or rural property
- A good understanding of rural estates, agricultural property and land
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- The ability to manage your own workload and work independently
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
- A full UK driving licence
