Senior Architect required to join a busy Architectural practice in south Manchester, near Stockport. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a strong team of Architectural professionals and to work on a nice mixture of Residential focused projects.
You’ll join a respected, design‑driven practice looking to strengthen its senior team with an Architect who brings strong technical delivery skills, confidence leading projects, and the ability to guide teams through complex stages of work. This role suits someone who enjoys being the technical anchor on schemes while still contributing to design quality and client relationships.
Role of the Senior Architect:

Leading projects through technical design, coordination and delivery

Acting as a key point of contact for clients, consultants and contractors

Overseeing drawing packages, specifications and compliance

Providing technical leadership to project teams and mentoring junior colleagues

Ensuring quality, buildability and regulatory compliance across all stages

Supporting the practice’s standards, processes and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for

ARB‑registered Architect - Minimum of 5 years post-qualification

Evidence of strong technical capability

Confident delivering projects through RIBA Stages 3–6

Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing

Proficiency in Revit.

Experience in housing or HRB projects is preferred, but not essential

A collaborative communicator who can lead, influence and problem‑solve
