About the Role

As a Senior Architectural Technologist/Technician , you will be the technical backbone of project delivery, leading the production of coordinated, high-quality construction information and ensuring full compliance with UK Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to Principal Designer duties, and play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
  • Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements, including Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act
  • Coordinate information across architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
  • Support Principal Designer responsibilities, promoting best practice in health and safety
  • Mentor junior team members and champion a culture of technical excellence
  • Engage confidently with clients and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience as an Architectural Technologist, ideally in a senior capacity
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and associated technical software
  • Deep understanding of UK Building Regulations, UK construction methods, and the Building Safety Act
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to lead and inspire
  • CIAT chartership is advantageous but not essential
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred, though not required thanks to excellent London transport links
