Conrad Consulting are presenting a unique opportunity for a Cumbria-based, Senior Architectural Technologist or Technician. This role will be almost completely remote-based, with occasional visits to site in Cumbria. We are looking to speak with experienced Architectural professionals from Lancaster to Carlisle, and everywhere in-between.
This is a complex and technical role, requiring the expertise of an accomplished Technician. This person should be able to work independently (From home) and to manage their own time effectively. Experience attending and contributing to Design team meetings is a core requirement for the role too.
Very occasionally you may be asked to visit the head office of this Architectural practice. This is in a bustling central location is just a short walk from Leeds train station. Their modern studio is home to around 25 staff and has an excellent, long-standing reputation across the North of England. They have an office in London too, offering UK-wide coverage on a wide range of multi-sector projects.
Having achieved the prestigious Investors in People Gold Award and actively working towards AJ100 status, the practice continues to strengthen its reputation across a diverse range of commercial sectors, delivering technically challenging projects throughout the UK.
This role will relate to one major project based in Cumbria. It’s a large, complex and technically-focused project within the MOJ sector. Previous experience working on large projects in relatable sectors would be beneficial (Industrial, Healthcare, Commercial, MOD, MOJ). The project is being delivered using REVIT software and will require security clearance – Or the ability to obtain SC clearance.
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- 10+ years' experience within a UK architectural practice.
- Strong technical delivery experience across large-scale, complex projects.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
- Advanced Revit proficiency.
- Ability to work independently, with excellent time-management.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain SC clearance
