Senior Architectural Technologist

Conrad Consulting have partnered with a longstanding client looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a respected, design‑led architectural practice in their London studio. This is a permanent position offering the chance to take a leading role within a well‑established and steadily growing team.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

This practice has built a strong reputation over more than three decades, operating across several UK locations and employing a diverse team of over 60 professionals. Their London office plays a major part in delivering some of the company’s most ambitious work.

Residential design forms the backbone of the practice working across all residential typologies and schemes they deliver schemes and urban regeneration developments across the nation.

Alongside this, the practice continues to expand into other sectors and other complementary project types.

The London studio is contemporary, well‑equipped and positioned close to excellent transport connections. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are already embedded within the business.

The role

This role is suited to a confident and capable Technologist who is comfortable taking ownership of technical stages and coordinating with wider project teams. You will be involved in producing detailed technical information, overseeing project delivery, and supporting the development of junior colleagues.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, contributing to the smooth running of projects and ensuring technical quality across the board.

The team works with both AutoCAD and Revit. Strong knowledge of these platforms is beneficial, although Revit training can be offered to those with solid AutoCAD experience.

WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Qualification in Architectural Technology or a related technical discipline
  • CIAT status or active progression towards chartership
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in practice
  • Strong Residential sector background
  • Excellent technical knowledge and ability to run projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
  • Revit capability (advantageous)
