Senior Architectural Technologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architectural Technologist or Senior Architectural Technologist to join a highly respected, employee-owned architectural practice based in the heart of Leeds.

The Role

Working alongside Architects, Consultants and Contractors, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of projects from design development through to construction.

You'll take ownership of projects, coordinate technical information, produce high-quality construction documentation and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

Senior level applicants will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and play a key role in driving technical excellence across the studio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical delivery of projects across a variety of sectors.

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages using Revit.

  • Coordinate information with consultants and external project teams.

  • Ensure projects comply with current UK Building Regulations and technical standards.

  • Attend client, consultant and site meetings throughout project delivery.

  • Resolve technical design challenges and provide practical solutions.

  • Support and mentor junior members of the team where appropriate.

  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, contractors and colleagues throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.

  • Significant UK practice experience as an Architectural Technologist.

  • Open to experienced Technologists and those already operating at Senior Architectural Technologist level.

  • Strong Revit skills with experience working within BIM environments.

  • Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge.

  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a genuine passion for technical delivery.
