We’re working with a specialist building consultancy known for its technical expertise in rights of light, daylight & sunlight, neighbourly matters, and complex property advisory work. With a growing Bristol team and an expanding project pipeline across the South West, they’re looking to appoint a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor.
The Role
A varied and technically rewarding position where you’ll deliver a mixture of project and professional work, including:

Commercial and residential refurbishment projects and contract administration

Technical due diligence and pre-acquisition surveys

Dilapidations (landlord & tenant), schedules of condition and defect analysis
-
Party wall, neighbourly matters advice and boundary-related instructions
-
Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors within the Bristol office
-
Working closely with clients ranging from developers and funds to estates teams and private clients
You’ll become part of an agile, well-respected consultancy known for delivering high-quality technical advice and client service.
What You’ll Need

Experience as a Building Surveyor within a consultancy
-
MRICS qualified (or equivalent senior-level expertise)
-
Strong technical reporting skills and excellent attention to detail
-
Experience across both project and professional disciplines
-
Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
-
Client-facing confidence and strong communication skills
