A well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking two Senior Building Surveyors to join their London team. The company delivers a full range of design, engineering, surveying, and professional services across the built environment, providing high-quality, innovative solutions for both public and private sector clients. The successful candidates will be qualified surveyors with at least 5 years post-qualification experience, leading a variety of commercial, residential, and public-sector projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage building surveying projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare high-quality technical specifications, schedules of works, and tender documentation.
- Undertake contract administration, including JCT and other standard forms of contract.
- Advise clients on project delivery, procurement, compliance, and risk management.
- Conduct building condition surveys, dilapidations, and property inspections.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Maintain excellent client and stakeholder communication throughout projects.
Skills & Experience Required
- Fully qualified Building Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment.
- Proven experience managing complex projects independently.
- Strong technical expertise in building surveying, contract administration, and construction law.
- Experience producing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and client management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
