Senior Civil Engineer – Glasgow
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering professional to join an established design team in Glasgow. You’ll be given the chance to lead projects with values up to £100m+, mentor junior colleagues, and deliver high‑quality designs across a variety of sectors including healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential and education.
What We Are Looking For
- 4–7 years’ consultancy experience in civil engineering, and can bring experience or capability in most of the following:
Essential Requirements:
- Leading multiple projects: from concept through to construction
- Carrying out drainage strategies as part of planning applications
- Proficient in AutoCAD (or equivalent)
- Understanding of technical approval processes
- Good stakeholder liaison and engagement skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in Flood Risk Assessments
- Use of Civil 3D software
- Hydraulic design software (for example, Causeway Flow)
- Residential housing estate layout and design
