SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Engineer to join the Highways and Civils team of our client in Newark, with hybrid working available. The role offers involvement in the delivery of complex, development-led infrastructure projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

 

The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of highways and drainage schemes from concept through to detailed design and technical approvals, including S104, S278 and S38 submissions. Responsibilities include producing and reviewing drawings, models and calculations, ensuring compliance with DMRB and local authority standards, and supporting multidisciplinary collaboration. Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical quality assurance will also form a key part of the role.

 

Applicants should hold a Level 4 qualification or higher in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and have substantial experience in highways and drainage design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (or PDS), along with drainage modelling software such as Flow, is essential. ICE membership or progression toward chartership is desirable.
