I am currently working with a client-side organisation in the public sector / regulated industry who are looking to appoint a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy and provide quality control for NEC Professional Services procurement.
This is a full-time role supporting the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have major infrastructure experience within a regulated environment, be confident leading procurement strategies, and managing the end-to-end procurement process for significant works contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement procurement strategies for major works contracts under NEC Professional Services contracts.
- Provide quality control and assurance for all procurement documentation.
- Manage procurement processes from tender preparation to contract award and post-award governance.
- Advise stakeholders on procurement best practice, risk, and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure seamless delivery.
- Maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor compliance and performance across all procurement activities.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in major infrastructure procurement, ideally in regulated industries or public sector.
- Strong understanding of NEC Professional Services contracts.
- Experience managing procurement teams and leading procurement strategies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with focus on risk, compliance, and quality control.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
