Senior Quantity Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a leading international construction consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major programme of Data Centre Infrastructure and Enabling Works in Helsinki, Finland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team delivering large-scale, technically complex projects for one of the world's fastest-growing sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of critical infrastructure works from pre-contract through to final account.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all commercial aspects of data centre infrastructure and enabling works packages.
  • Administering contracts, valuations, variations, and change management.
  • Preparing cost plans, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Managing procurement and tendering activities.
  • Assessing subcontractor accounts and negotiating final accounts.
  • Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Supporting the delivery of projects on time and within budget.

About You

We're looking for professionals who possess:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
  • Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure, civil engineering, industrial, or data centre projects.
  • Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract and commercial management practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English. Additional European languages would be advantageous but are not essential.
