Senior Quantity Surveyor
Up to £65,000 + Benefits | Glasgow
Our client, an established, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their cost management team, working across a diverse and high-profile project portfolio spanning commercial, residential, education, defence and industrial sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious QS to progress within a firm offering genuine variety, strong career progression, and exposure to some of the region's most exciting developments.
Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Providing full cost management services from feasibility through to final account
- Preparing cost plans, tender documentation, and contract administration
- Managing pre- and post-contract duties across a range of project values and sectors
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with scope to take on increasing responsibility
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- RICS Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying
- MRICS (or working towards) preferred
- Proven experience in a consultancy environment, with a solid grounding across the full project lifecycle
- Strong communication skills and confidence managing client relationships directly
- A collaborative approach, comfortable working within a wider multi-disciplinary team
