I am currently recruiting for a well-established consultancy with a strong presence across the infrastructure sector, working on major projects spanning highways, aviation, water, defence and power. They're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Glasgow team and take a lead role on some genuinely varied, high-value schemes.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a heavy infrastructure background who wants to broaden their exposure across multiple sub-sectors, rather than being tied to one type of project.
The Role
- Managing cost and commercial matters across infrastructure projects from highways, aviation, water, defence and power sectors
- Preparing and agreeing final accounts, valuations and cost reports
- Managing NEC/ICE contract administration and change control
- Building strong client relationships and supporting junior team members
- Working closely with project managers and engineers to keep projects commercially sound from inception to completion
About You
- MRICS (or working towards) or equivalent professional qualification
- Solid experience gained within infrastructure or heavy civils, or a PQS background with relevant sector exposure
- Confident managing NEC contracts
- Strong communicator, comfortable liaising directly with clients and contractors
- Based in or able to commute to Glasgow
What's on Offer
- Salary up to £70,000, depending on experience
- Genuine variety across sectors rather than single-project exposure
- Clear route for career progression within a growing infrastructure team
