Our client is seeking a Senior Revit Technician to support the delivery of complex, high-value projects across multiple sectors. The role is primarily office-based with occasional site visits, offering involvement in large-scale, multi-phase developments within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Candidates will bring at least ten years’ experience in structural engineering or a related field, supported by a degree (BEng or higher), and advanced capability in Revit, AutoCAD and BIM workflows, including Navisworks coordination. Strong experience working with point cloud data and creating parametric families in Autodesk Revit is essential, alongside a detailed understanding of BIM standards, including BIM Level 2.
The position requires proven involvement in producing conceptual and detailed designs for foundations, superstructures, drainage and external works, as well as familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 19650, technical assurance and risk management. Experience integrating emerging technologies such as VR and laser scanning into project delivery is highly desirable. Professional membership, for example with the Institution of Structural Engineers, would be beneficial.
A strong communicator with excellent analytical skills, the successful candidate will be confident managing multiple projects, mentoring junior staff, and liaising with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams. A solid understanding of UK health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations, is essential.
