SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Our client is an established structural and civil engineering consultancy serving clients throughout South Wales, the South West, and beyond. The practice has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative, practical, and efficient engineering solutions tailored to the unique requirements of each project.

Working with private homeowners, architects, builders, and developers, our client helps bring ambitious visions to life through creative design and technical excellence. The consultancy has amassed extensive experience across a diverse range of sectors, including education, retail, defence, and residential developments, with projects undertaken throughout the UK.

Their expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and concept design through to structural analysis, detailed design, assessment of existing structures, and construction-stage support.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chartered or near-chartered engineer who enjoys working across a varied portfolio of projects and is looking for greater flexibility while maintaining involvement in technically challenging and rewarding work.

  • Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Manage projects from feasibility stage through to construction completion.
  • Ensure designs comply with current UK standards, regulations, and best practice.
  • Attend site visits and inspections as required.

  • Experience designing structures in a variety of materials including steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience.

Whilst this is a fully remote role, you will need to be close enough to Cwmbra to carry out regular site visits locally.
