Ready to take the lead on exciting structural engineering projects? An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our client’s established consultancy in Taunton, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, retail, residential and industrial developments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer to take ownership of projects, lead design teams and deliver innovative engineering solutions across a varied range of new-build and existing structures.
The successful candidate will lead projects from inception through to completion, coordinate with other design professionals and undertake structural assessments and inspections of buildings constructed in steel, concrete, masonry and timber. The role will also involve carrying out structural analysis and design using industry-standard software, preparing high-quality technical reports and surveys, and ensuring consistently high standards across all technical deliverables.
Applicants should hold a degree in Structural Engineering at Bachelor’s or Master’s level and have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills and the confidence to manage projects independently. Chartered status would be advantageous but is not essential, with support and training available for those looking to achieve professional accreditation.
