Our client is an award-winning structural engineering consultancy with a strong national presence and an expanding Derby office. With a growing portfolio of work, they are looking for an ambitious Senior Structural Engineer to join their team and play a key role in delivering a diverse range of building projects, including major mixed-use urban developments.
You’ll take the lead on structural design and analysis, manage projects from inception through to completion, and coordinate design teams to ensure successful delivery. The role also involves working closely with clients, architects and contractors, attending site meetings and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
The ideal candidate will be Chartered, or working towards Chartership, with solid experience managing projects and leading design teams. Strong technical ability, commercial awareness and excellent communication skills are essential, along with a proactive, client-focused approach. Familiarity with industry software such as Tedds and Tekla would be advantageous.
