About the Role
We’re recruiting exclusively for a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join a well-established building consultancy in Bristol. This is a unique opportunity to work across a wide range of projects in multiple sectors, combining traditional surveying with design and project management responsibilities.
You’ll be joining a strong office of around 12 surveyors, working closely with their Cardiff team, offering a great balance of autonomy, support, and the chance to influence key projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage surveying projects across a variety of sectors, including:
• Prisons & courts
• Residential
• Education & healthcare

Oversee design and project management work alongside traditional surveying tasks

Mentor and support junior staff, including grads and APC-level surveyors
-
Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and project teams
-
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards
Candidate Profile

Chartered or near-chartered Building Surveyor (Senior or Associate level)
-
Open to a mix of project-led or professional-led backgrounds
-
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff
-
Experience across multiple sectors is advantageous
-
Able to manage multiple projects and build strong client relationships
